Disable Metro UI in Windows 8 | How To

Step 1:
Go To "REGEDIT"
(To go to regedit press and hold 'windows' button in the keyboard and press 'r' )

Step 2:
Navigate to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer


Step 3:
Double-Click on "RPEnabled".

Step 4:
Change the value to 0













Note: To change back to metro change the value to 1.
